In response to advancements in technology and the increasing demand from industries for professionals in User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design, interactive programming, interactive art and performance, service design, Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR), and the Metaverse, our department has adopted "Interaction Design" as its central development focus.

The department's vision is to meet the current and future manpower needs of industries in digital content, cultural and creative industries, information and communications technology (ICT), animation and gaming, mobile application services, Internet of Things (IoT), and social media, while nurturing students with forward-thinking, interdisciplinary, and cross-sector critical capabilities. The establishment of the Department of Interaction Design aligns with national industrial development needs, providing talent cultivation and training to meet market demands. It also fosters internationalized educational perspectives, equipping a new generation of designers with the essential knowledge and skills for the future.
