Congratulations! Instructor Che Kuang Chuang won the the third prize at the "Dadun Art Exhibition" exhibition 2024

Congratulations! Our IXD project instructor, Che-Kuang Chuang, has won third place in the Digital Art category of the "113th Dadunfae Exhibition" with his personal work "Education Parallax."

"Education Parallax" is the artist's latest creation in 2024. In this piece, the artist simulates the different perspectives of students and teachers through his personal experience, presenting their contrasting viewpoints via dual-channel animation. The work includes three parts: 2D graphics, dual-channel animation, and VR 360, showcasing single, contrasting, and transcendent perspectives between teachers and students. In the 3D animation, the artist designed two triangular classroom spaces, one forward and one reverse, where the roles of students and teachers become both observers and the observed, learners and instructors. Through various levels of perspectives, the work ultimately presents a viewpoint that transcends both identities.

This year's Dadunfae Exhibition received 1,681 entries from artists in 20 countries, including Mongolia, Malaysia, Japan, the United States, and others, with 59 outstanding international works participating. A total of 201 pieces were shortlisted for the second round of evaluation, making the competition highly competitive.
