Congratulations! Instructor Chuang Che-Kuang has won the Official Selection Award at the 2024 LICC Award

Congratulations! Instructor Chuang Che-Kuang has won the Official Selection Award at the 2024 London International Creative Competition (LICC)
Chuang shared, "The 'Parallax' series is a creative project that began in 2024, aiming to explore the similarities and differences between seemingly opposing ends through various technological perspectives. The series consists of three works. The award-winning Labor-Capital Parallax combines VR 360 and dual-channel animation as an experimental piece and was also selected for the New Media Art category at the Keelung Art Exhibition."
The work is divided into three levels: the flat work represents a singular viewpoint, the dual-channel video piece presents simultaneous contrasts, and the VR 360 piece showcases an elevated perspective. All the visuals deliberately omit human figures, presenting a first-person narrative purely through space, installations, and monologues. Through spatial structures and camera movements, the work highlights the similarities and differences between labor and capital, ultimately presenting a perspective that transcends both.
The London International Creative Competition (LICC) was founded by Farmani Group artists Launa Bacon and Hossein Farmani. Since 2006, the LICC has been honoring outstanding talent in the arts, encouraging innovation and uniqueness, and helping foster creativity that allows artists to break boundaries. The competition for 2024 covered 11 categories and attracted participants from 65 countries.
